Surgery is bifurcated into Minimal Invasive Surgery, Vascular
Surgery, Gastroenterology and General Surgeries. All the
surgeries are done today with high level of success. In a
Laparoscopic Surgery a scope is introduced in the body cavity
through a very small opening. The procedure is done by viewing
the affected part through a CCD video camera attached with the
monitor. As the hole is very small, the procedure is known as
Laparoscopic or Key Hole based surgery.
This type of surgery ensures almost nil chances of infection
as there is no larger exposure or incision with less pain.
This procedure can be performed on any age and there is no bar
on children’s also.
One of the benefited parts of this procedure is quick recovery
and lesser stay in the hospital. No doubt it is a bit
expensive over conventional open surgery, but less stay and
reduced medicine brings down the cost considerably.
